The Olivet College of Business has partnered with The Institute for Innovation, Integration, & Impact to offer the institute’s core Lemon Leadership course for OCB students during the summer term. The Lemon Leadership course is a leading training program that helps Christian businessmen repurpose their companies toward God.
The Institute was founded by Brett Johnson and his wife Lyn. They have been exploring the dynamics of faith and work environments for over 30 years, and they have both been in business for decades. Brett Johnson explains the purpose for the institute:
“We made a strategic decision eight years ago: we knew we could either attend endless conferences on faith-based business, or we could actually help companies do it. We chose to mobilize, train and deploy kingdom businesspeople in nations around the world and skip the conferences.”
The course offered this summer, ET700 Lemon Leadership, will be the first course offered in collaboration with The Institute. The course will be offered over a 7-week period with students participating from around the world. The first online webinar will be held on Tuesday July 19th.
The Institute has a long track record of repurposing businesses to be more in line with Godly principles. The institute is a business, led by businessmen, and they have repurposed over 280 companies in the past 8 years. Tish Holt, a recent trainee, explains that “It is not just about information, but transformation: they are not just talking it, but living it… and the next generation is owning it.”
The Olivet College of Business is excited to partner with the world-class Lemon Leadership program offered by The Institute, and the college looks forward to training its students with insight from Brett Johnson. OCB strives to prepare its students for long, successful, and faithful careers utilizing their business skills to glorify God.
