Olivet University -OTCS Alumnus to Receive Albert Schweitzer Fellowship

Olivet Theological College & Seminary, alumnus Mr. So Onishi, was honored as a recipient of the Albert Schweitzer Fellowship for 2011-12. Mr. Onishi will be working with the Health ministry of Zion Baptist Church to promote health literacy and awareness in North Philadelphia.
With the mission of developing "leaders in service," the Albert Schweitzer Fellowship selects 250 fellows from the nation's top health and human service programs. Selected recipients partner with community-based organizations to conduct a year-long service project that meets the health need of the community.
Mr. Onishi's health community service project will involve health education talks, poster presentations, screenings, and health counseling sessions that deliver practical  tools for promoting healthy lifestyle and health management for the underserved population in North Philadelphia.
