Olivet University Choir Emphasizes Performance, Recruitment in 2013

January 14, 2013

New Year's is a time for resolutions, and the Olivet University Choir is resolved to be a vocal ensemble of the highest quality in 2013, according to Jubilee College of Music, JCM.
"The Choir serves to promote choral music among all of the University's students, and more students are participating than ever before," said choir instructor Jennifer Gwon.
Now, the Choir program is also aiming to serve as Olivet's musical ambassadors, prepared to present a wide variety of Christian choral repertoire befitting of an outstanding university-level choral program.
"To this end, the University is planning to support the Choir program with adding staff leadership in the coming months," said JCM's Program Director Jade Cho.
Already Jubilee students are joining with members from across the student community to lift their voices in jubilant song as part of a groundbreaking choral experience this winter quarter. The Choir provided a stunning concert at the Olivet Chapel for more than 300 Olivet students, faculty, alumni, family, and friends last December.
